Our projects

Once the annual action plan is approved (in December of each year), the Foundation identifies employability, social and environmental needs in the priority countries and potentially interesting organisations thanks to the local recommendations (Imperial Tobacco Group area/ local managers) about the local context, information provided online and eventual local advisors (Embassies, World Bank, United Nations).

Then the Foundation manager visits the potentially interesting organisations and realises a pre-analysis on the ground. The organisations visited apply and their project is analysed through the Foundation’s evaluation framework. If the project is approved, a framework agreement is signed with the organisation. During the monitoring phase, the beneficiary organisations send 2 reports to the Foundation and the ITG area/local managers do at least one visit per project. Finally 1 year after the end of each project, an evaluation is made.
